Cajun Herb Marinated Prime Ribs
Ingredients:
- 1 Roast of Prime Ribs
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup beer
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, mix together oregano, basil, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, beer and lemon juice. Spread herb mix all over the roast of prime ribs and wrap the seasoned roast with saran wrap. Allow the roast of Prime ribs to marinate for 6-8 hours. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove the roast of prime ribs from the saran wrap marinate and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place the marinated roast in the oven for 50-60 minutes. Slice the roast of prime ribs into 1 inch thick steaks and serve with garlic roasted potatoes and corn.
Bone in Prime Rib with Coffee Rub
Ingredients:
- 1 Bone in Prime Rib
- 4 tbsp coffee grounds
- 4 tbsp pepper grounds
- 1 tbsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together the coffee, pepper and salt. Sprinkle the coffee mixture over the entire roast of prime rib and place the prime rib on a roasting pan. Bake the coffee rubbed prime rib for about 45-50 minutes, checking occasionally with a meat thermometer for desired doneness. Chop the bone in prime rib into thick steaks and serve with au jus sauce.
