Ingredients:
- 1 Prime Rib Roast
- 2 cups apricot preserves
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tbsp salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  To prepare the apricot sauce for prime rib, heat the apricot preserves, cinnamon, orange juice and salt on medium until the mixture is completely combined and smooth.  Pour half of the apricot mixture over the prime rib roast and place the roast on a medium roasting pan.  Then put the prime rib roast into the oven for 50-60 minutes.  Allow the prime rib roast to cool about 10 minutes before cutting to finish internally cooking.  Slice the prime rib roast into 1 inch thick steaks and pour the remaining apricot mixture over all the slices.  Serve immediately with dinner rolls and your favorite potato recipe.
