Easy Traditional Roasted Prime Rib

Ingredients:
- 1 Prime Rib Roast
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Rub the prime rib roast with flour and sprinkle it with salt, pepper and garlic powder.  Place the prime rib roast, fat side up, in a roasting pan.  Roast in the oven for 3.5-4 hours, or about 20 minutes per pound.  Temperatures measured with a meat thermometer should range from 140 - 160 degrees for rare to well done.  Slice the roasted prime rib into 2-3 inch thick steaks and serve with your favorite greens.

Garlic Salt and Herbal Prime Rib Rub

 Ingredients:
 - 2 Prime Rib Steaks
 - 4 tbsp garlic salt
 - 1 tbsp rosemary
 - 1 tbsp sage
 - 1 tbsp pepper
 - 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  To create the prime rib rub, use a small mixing bowl to combine the garlic salt, rosemary, sage, pepper and olive oil.  Then brush the prime rib steaks thoroughly with the garlic mixture to completely coat.  Place the Prime rib steaks on a medium roasting pan, fat side up, and bake in oven for 15-20 minutes.  Allow the prime rib steaks to cool for about 10 minutes before cutting in order to finish cooking, internally.

Garlic Prime Rib of Beef with Herbal Rub

Ingredients:
- 1 Prime Rib Roast
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  In a small mixing bowl, combine garlic, thyme, parsley, paprika, pepper and salt.  Sprinkle garlic mixture over prime rib roast and bake  Prime rib for 45-60 minutes.  Allow to cool at least 10 minutes then slice prime rib into 1-2 inch thick steaks and serve immediately.
